    Pros

Product that has a real need (car navigation), interesting problems, intellectual challenges, reasonably demanding environment.

    Cons

Company's original market (consumer mobile navigation) has been destroyed by Google and Apple (free maps). As a result, the company had to pivot to Automotive B2B, and extremely hard market to grow in. It can get by, but don't expect too much growth, leading to the exodus of their best employees.

    Advice to Management

Sell the company to Uber if you still can.

    Pros

Telenav has a great product that is actually helpful, and some solid leadership that cares about developing their offering in the market.

    Cons

While this company has a good offering, unfortunately the management doesn't have a strong focus on innovating. They really need to focus on developing more products and not just keeping up with the competition. They also seem to think that they compete with Google, but really I don't know that they even fall onto the radar.

    Advice to Management

It's not only important for you to continue to innovate, but you'll also need to develop talent from within if you're looking to keep your top performers as opposed to losing them to stronger companies.
