    Great benefits, training encouraged and promotional opportunities . Management listens to you.

    No job security in certain fields. Short lunch times . No tesm building

    I have been working at Telkom SA as a contractor (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Exposed to a variety of technical environments. Involved in technologies from hosting clients, networking, and onboarding of client environments. Differenct clients require different solutions which needs to be implemented.

    Cons

    Being a contractor have its limits. You continually have to look for a new vacancy. It does keep you on your toes continually have to upgrade yourself

    Their benefits are very good and salay,is worth working for a recognised company.

    Cons

    There was no transparency on the financial status of the company and the changes that had a direct impact on the employee were not communicated promptly.

    Talk and be more open to everyone that is working for the company and helping to uphold their values and ethics.

    Cons

    Recent negative media coverage regarding uncompetitive behavior. As a massive organization, change initiatives take time to implement. Enhanced turn around strategies should urgently be implemented to ensure sustainability

    Reduce management structure (top heavy). Top management should strive to engage more with employees at the bottom levels in order to stay in touch and encourage enhanced performance.
