    Pros

    I worked at the Santa Clara office. The upper management did not have a clue, but the local team was managed very well.

    Cons

    Upper management is based in Naperville and did not understand how to operate in the Silicon Valley

    Advice to Management

    Too late now, company has been sold to private equity. Could have done so much more. Some great products, great engineers.

    Conservative approach of executives led to early entrance to maintenance mode, and eventually running out of business.

    Pros

    Good people work there at the mid-level and below. They sell and promote an Interesting technology that has the potential to revolutionize enterprise networks. Leadership with POL in federal gov, especially DOD.

    Cons

    Lots of pressure and stress to grow beyond the rate of growth the market experiences. Meager (and shrinking) resources. Mediocre talent at the executive level.
