I have been working at Telstra full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Above average pay, flexible working, good location and with a global business opportunity to work internationally. They are many good/hard working people in the organisation with great ideas.

    Cons

Very very political!!!! Majority of the time is spent discussing on what to do and trying to convince all the chefs in the kitchen on what to cook and by the time everyone agrees, they is very little time to actually make it happen as such execution is poor. Result of all this is an ever ending cycle of fixing a quick and dirty with another quick and dirty.
Culture also need a bit of work within the organisation.

    Advice to Management

Culture, Culture, Culture! Similar to how customers like to be treated, don't make promises you cannot keep and actions speaks louder then words.

    - Systematic issue of people who have been in the business long-term only sitting around waiting for a redundancy payout
