I worked at TemPositions full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

School of Professionals (TemPositions) is a great company with many great opportunities to grow as individuals and professionals. I highly recommend working for the company. The company provides scheduling flexibility, conveniently finding a position, using either the phone or internet to search and accept an assignment 24/7, great pay, and the opportunities in education you're looking for.

    Cons

This is not a cons, however, some times if you don't get an assignment the night before, you have to wait until the morning to pick up an assignment. But most of the time there are assignments available to pick up.

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at TemPositions part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexible work schedule. You can set your own hours and change your availability though your online account at any point during the day.

    Cons

There is a low tolerance for lateness. Three lateness are grounds for termination. When you're going to a new location daily it can be hard to adhere to that policy.

    Advice to Management

They should make it abundantly clear to new employees that they are a means to an end. They are only a platform to find permanent work else where.

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

    - Good daily pay
    -Plenty of jobs
-If you are working extra hours for planning let TemPositions know so you can get paid fairly

    Cons

-While it claims to offer benefits you would have to work everyday to qualify
-If a company you are temping with wants to hire you away they have to pay a very hefty fee to TemPositions which might persuade them to go with another candidate
    -5:30AM/ 6:00AM calls
-Many of the schools have huge discipline issues and not just because you are a substitute
