I have been working at Tempur Sealy International full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Overall the people are very genuine and fun to work with. Many very intelligent hardworkers on the team.

    Cons

Priorities and focuses change on a whim and have a reputation for being very difficult to do business with in the industry. Email and fire drill report culture improving but still a ways to go.

    Advice to Management

Stick with plans long term. Make decisions more strategically and surgically rather than with such a broad brush.

Everyone who worked there, senior management, district management, corporate management. All terrible and ghoulish individuals only concerned with their bottom line than their employees. Several employees threatening to bring in the union.

    Advice to Management

Stop caring about yourselves and your profits and start taking care of your people.

    Pros

    Pay and benefits are amazing!

    Cons

Way too inconsistent hours. Could work 40+ one week and then 35- the next. When it's too slow you are forced to take a layoff. Very nice in the busy season and making $$$. Lots of lazy employees too.

    Advice to Management

Don't give one plants work to another and then lay off first plant
