I worked at Ten Group full-time

    Pros

Great opportunities to grow and work with people of other nationalities.
Excellent environment. Great place to work with quality and not quantity

    Cons

Do not explain all things with details from the beginning, as the days pass you find out how you're going to work.

I have been working at Ten Group (More than a year)

    Pros

    1) Flexible work schedule. Hours do matter, but within reasonable time periods, you’re allowed some freedom as long as you get your work done.

    2) Lack of micromanagement! (on the HR side)

    3) Working alongside talented people who actually want to do well for others.

    4) You’ll end up learning A LOT. There's flexibility in what you're able to learn as well and you'll likely end up dabbling in a ton of different areas.

    Cons

    1) Can be a bit disorganized at times. Especially in a growing company, you’ll end up working autonomously quite often and figuring things out on your own as you go - processes seem to be in the midst of development.

    2) Often times, the amount of work can be overwhelming.

I have been working at Ten Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I get to work on different projects and for me that is development and experience. Casual dress. Great people that really care about me personally. The concept of the business is really cool. I have been with the company for 16 months and it is exciting to see the changes and rapid development of people and technology. Maybe it is over do but they are now on it!

    Cons

So much to do and only 40 hours to do it. Things don't happen as fast as I would like.

    Advice to Management

There are two kinds of people at Ten. The ones that come in every day to make things better, look for ways to improve themselves and others and jump in any time they can. This is the group of happy people.

The second group just puts in time, complains or blames and takes the easy/lazy way out. This is where you will find the unhappy employees. This is a small group at Ten but they are in every company.

Hire people that have a desire to make it better!

I have been working at Ten Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great co-workers- lots of quirkiness and fun

Open door policy-middle management seems to be compassionate

For the most part, a pretty decent work life balance

    Cons

    Below average compensation
Negative work environment- very few people talk positively about their role
A technology and interface platform that is extremely glitchy and makes it hard to get essential work done
    A useless Human Resources department
    Dishonesty with clients
    False advertising
    Manipulative management

    Advice to Management

Ten Group has an incredible amount of potential. Understand why all of your employees are miserable and make changes accordingly. Hire more people to match the volume that the company is receiving. Don't make promises to your clients that you can't keep as they are aware you are false advertising. Start to build some trust with your employees as ultimately none of them feel secure or confident within their role. As for Alex Cheatle, you are a fine gentlemen and are truly a great person. Please understand who is below you and what they are doing.

    Pros

International team, international clients, great location.

    Cons

Supervisors were not helpful, especially with new employees.

    Advice to Management

I was told by a supervisor that they would take me out of one account because "my accent was too thick" if you speak 4 languages the least you can have is an accent. Be careful that could be considered discriminatory especially on an international company like yours.
