I worked at TenA Companies full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexible schedule, great work life balance, lower stress, yearly raises, low employee turnover, above average pay. This is a great place to work if you are independent and love to have control over your work. You will not be blamed for other employees mistakes. A great opportunity to learn a ton about mortgage, even if you have been working in the industry for awhile.

    Cons

If you are someone who needs a lot of human interaction and needs a lot of work friends, this may not be the work culture for you.

    Advice to Management

    N/A

    Pros

Organized training, consistently updated on progress and goals

    Cons

One of the worst working environments I have ever worked in. No team activities or interaction

    Advice to Management

When bringing in a new hire introduce them to their team and individuals they may interact with

I have been working at TenA Companies full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Relaxed work environment, close parking by doors, HR is knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. You get a community vibe. Flexible schedule.

    Cons

Train yourself and constantly asking supervisors for new items to learn. Slow gradual growth as you train yourself. Coworkers do not help and are just focused on their items.

    Advice to Management

More focus on training and feedback.

I have been working at TenA Companies full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Training, flexibility, holiday & b-day celebrations, good outside smoke/exterior break area, decent parking made available

    Cons

Isolating, confusing interior layout for new hires, odd aesthetics, small bathrooms, HR sends released employee/contractor notifications to everyone

    Advice to Management

My advice to management would be to synergize teams. The roles are very much isolated and there is a feeling of not knowing your co-workers even though you see them or work next to them daily. You are definitely siloed in your given position. It is the oddest work environment I have experienced to date. If you are an introvert, this is the place for you!

    Pros

Flex time available to all employees

    Cons

Atmosphere is dry and very production driving. Talking too much to your coworkers is frowned up on

    Pros

Pay is excellent. Relaxed schedule - no set lunch or break times. Contracted trainees are not micromanaged through a time tracking system.

    Cons

Inadequate training. Employees are expected to be able to utilize numerous servicing systems without being trained on how to use all of the systems and sub servicing systems. The office setting lacked a feeling of community. Outwardly discouraged from asking co-workers any work-related questions. Would sometimes go several days without even so much as a "hello" from my manager. Predisposed (almost exclusively) toward hiring former Black Knight and Wells Fargo employees.

    Advice to Management

A more comprehensive training program and more user-friendly electronic job aids would promote higher productivity and quality scores. Many employees mention to myself that they felt they were just "guessing" through audits.

I have been working at TenA Companies full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Second look audit software allows for every auditor to gain the knowledge required to identify underwriting defects and non compliant loans. Flexible working hours with starting times between 5-10:30. Quiet working environment with little to no pressure from customer calls. Free parking, clean building and office space, and growing every year.

    Cons

    Lacks contact with other employees.

    Advice to Management

More training and engagement with supervisors.

I have been working at TenA Companies full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Pay pay pay and pay for easy job once you learn the ropes ON YOUR OWN!

    Cons

This place used to be a great place to work for 3 years ago. Now management is in disarray, employee morals are at an all time low. Great managers are being let go and are replaced by people who have no idea what to do but are liked by senior management. It has become like another LPS field service company where management doesn't care for their employees and employees are only there because they are now stuck. Can't wait for another Wells Fargo great migration. This time around all your loyal employees who stuck with you through thick and thin will be the first to jump ship because YOU bailed on them first!

    Advice to Management

None since you wouldn't care anyhow.

But for new employees; look through previous audits and learn to copy and paste.

I worked at TenA Companies full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Watch videos all day, come and go as you please. Pay raise is good.

    Cons

Unorganized, and you CANNOT talk in the dept. You HAVE to whisper because someone will complain about being too loud, like serious? That was a complete culture shock for me. Everyone audits "their" way, theres no proper training. The editors will most likely write up the auditors for an audit that was never addressed. Even if the editors know what to look for they will NOT let the auditors know, so there is proper auditing done, I was told management had addressed that editors NOT say anything. Bogus. Also, They only promote people they favor, so goodluck waiting for advancement. Half the time those managers dont know what they're doing. You can go weeks without an answer to a question you asked. There is definitely a disconnect somewhere between these roles.

    Advice to Management
