I worked at Tencent full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good benefits, comparatively good reputation, competitive salary. The company is one of the better ones in BAT (China technology giants). If you are from the area (Guangdong Province) it might be a good choice and you will live a relatively comfortable life.

    Cons

Too much company politics, stagnant product growth, bad working relationships and atmosphere. The company seems to think that it is always okay to let people work overtime. Typically people leave the company at 10pm under peer pressure.

    Advice to Management

It might be a good idea for the management to be a little low-profile and attentive to its employees. Too many leaders are just arrogant and have no idea of how to lead a team and wouldn't bother learning how.
