    Pros

The pay is good. You start out with a decent amount of PTO. Good @ making sure you get your hours in. Growing company.

    Cons

Tough to use your PTO. Don't take the bonus if you can't stay the whole time. They do not pro rate it.

I worked at Tender Touch Rehab Services full-time

    Pros

    -competitive hourly rate for therapists

    Cons

-97% productivity, requiring therapists to choose between keeping their job and being ethical (therapists forced to work off the clock, treat patients who are not appropriate for therapy)
-patient census is consistently low and therapists are overhired, requiring you to travel to other buildings frequently and/or only receive 30-35 hrs a week

    Advice to Management

    >90% productivity is impossible, which means employees are lying and being unethical about what they are doing to meet this standard. Show more respect and value towards your employees, the residents, and the therapy field.

    Pros

Tender Touch is competitive and always up to date with changes in Medicare and reimbursement, they care about their employees and are very approachable if there is any concerns

    Cons

Depending on where you are geographically, how many buildings Tender Touch has around you, it can be hard to get enough hours when buildings are slow

    Advice to Management

    Keep picking up facilities

    Pros

    Flexible schedule, many buildings

    Cons

    Expensive benefits , no raises

    Advice to Management

Get better priced health insurance. These rates are out of control and really isn't enticing to stay with your company. My coverage went up $1100 this with no raise expected.

I worked at Tender Touch Rehab Services full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Supportive management and supervisors, up-to-date with training staffs on current CMS regulations, continuing education and training available, great benefits at par with other companies, support staff (HR, staffing, compliance) that's easy to communicate.

    Cons

Nothing personally, like every company it's a case to case basis.

    Advice to Management

Supporting employees with training and probably professional development (i.e. specializations and certifications).

I have been working at Tender Touch Rehab Services full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

None that I know of....ok Flexed hours. It's really difficult to think of something. Honestly!

    Cons

Disloyalty to seniored staff. Poor Benefits package (read the fine print! ) They quote you the VALUE of your contract but it is not what you actually get. You follow their religion...No MLK, Christmas, 1 bereavement day ( Mother or Father you pick, you only get 1 day) If you have a Comatose patient with the right insurance you maybe spending 90 mins with them. Unethical practices disguised to make you question your ability as a therapist.

    Advice to Management

Watch an episode of undercover boss!
Realize not everyone is Jewish. We have lives and families too. Your reputation continues to go DOWN! Make changes soon. Picture contest won't cut it! Moral is at an all time low. WAKE UP!!!!

I have been working at Tender Touch Rehab Services full-time

    Pros

On line access to education and career developing

    Cons

expected procductivity in mid 90s. DOR is constantly pressured by administation and upper level management to meet RUG even when it is inappropiate.

    Advice to Management

Expectations on DOR is unrealistic and a set up for failure. All communication with DOR is through Rox message . Weekly meetings briefly address patient care and little time for staff business.
