    Pros

Tenneco is a growing company who has great growth and even in a bad company keeps growing. The benifts are good with retirement and a 401k match which most companies have done away with they continue to match. Good chances to advance and if you come to work every day they treat you well.

    Cons

Some times long hours with no notice to make plans is a downfall for working with tenneco. Sometimes it is not to be avoided as the customers tend to be difficult to deal with.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work with the communication with the employees. It goes a long way. You treat them with respect and they will work had and do the right things to keep the company successful.

I worked at Tenneco full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Very competitive pay. advancement opportunities. Clean working atmosphere. World class company with a great future in automotive industry.

    Cons

not really many cons. a small turn over ratio. Can be a hot atmosphere in summer months. Its in the automotive industry so can be subject to great years and slower times.

    Advice to Management

continue to attack the business search and engineering launches. However, engineering launches should have a greater focus on all aspects of the launch. I had seen a couple dropped the ball issues but we always recovered. Great under pressure.
