    Benefits of bigger company with more resources

    Cons

    Same applies - sometimes bigger companies are less personal and people can be anonymously laid off.

    Pros

    Learning, working on latest technology, good leadership, great clients to work with, great exposure for analytics, good salary and benefits

    Cons

    If you don't like travel, this might not be a job for you. Requires at least 70% travel a year, Monday thru Thursday.

    Advice to Management

    Probably put local consultants on local projects

    Pros

    Good benefits, hard work is rewarded, the team and manager I was with were top notch.

    Cons

    Like most all larger companies there are some bureaucracy type policies, but tolerable.

    Pros

    Nice mix groups of people in terms of age, ethnic, experiences. Good and nice people to work with.

    Cons

    Poor Management and usually no sense of direction. They mostly just want to copy startup companies. Merit and bonus are lowest and close to nothing.

    Advice to Management

    provide a sense of direction, help employees and not fight and put them down. Transparency is need from top to bottom management, this is not a communist society.

    I have been working at Teradata full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Consulting and technology. Teradata is still one of the best MPPs even if it's expensive. Lots of variety in consulting and really smart people.

    Cons

    Pay lower than industry average. Older company in the technology industry. Needs to be more efficient to keep up with the market.

    Advice to Management

    Less Hardware, More cloud and Services. But that seems to be the direction.
