    Pros

TeraThink has competitive salary and amazing benefits, but the real value comes from the culture which has a family atmosphere and an open door to the executive team, including the CEO. TeraThink constantly strives to make a better experience for all employees.

    Cons

The government contracting industry can sometimes be uncertain.

    Pros

up beat and flourishing company! dedicated to the needs of their employees and a work life/ home life balance

    Cons

being a government contractor is difficult since there are multiple contracts over the DMV area it provides less face time with leadership and other employees, however TeraThink does facilitate multiple opportunities to come together

    Advice to Management

keep up the great work! I am really proud to be a TeraThink employee. You care about your employees and show it :)

I have been working at Terathink full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great Benefits, great working environment, the employees are always nice and willing to pitch in when needed no matter their job description

    Cons

Careers opportunities at TeraThink are great, but for the employees who support the company and its employees (Recruiters, Proposal Team, Human Resources, etc.) there does not seem to be any career advancement opportunities.

    Advice to Management

Diversify upper management, and give career advancement opportunities to those who work at headquarters who support the company (those who are overhead).

    I worked at Terathink full-time

    Pros

    The benefits were not bad

    Cons

Poorly organized, seemed like no one knew what they were doing, and there was never any guidance from management. High turnover rate, and a lot of people left the project I was on because they were being burned out and it was an unhappy environment

    Pros

    Good benefits, compensation, social activities.

    Cons

Small company with no bench. Once your project ends, you're on your own to find a new team/additional work. There is no diversity in upper management.

    Advice to Management

Have a more diverse executive-level team and start looking internally for people to build the company.

I have been working at Terathink full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Wonderful benefits, great environment, open/friendly/approachable management, "small company" feel despite our growth.

    - Benefits better than most competitors
    - Very invested in employees (team building, training, events, etc.)
    - Seek to hold on to employees even after contracts end

    Cons

Periodic FYI emails to employees would be beneficial to inform them of new contracts, ending contracts, new opportunities, HR updates, security updates, etc.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Terathink full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

They had a good reputation within their very small market area (Gov Accounting Systems and FIAR).

    Cons

The leadership is very closed, they do not accept new people who they didn't work personally with for many years. It's a very cold company to work with.

    Pros

Competitive pay, high 401k matching, education reimbursement

    Cons

Management seems out of touch with employees, and there seems to be an attitude of "Let's win as many proposals as possible and not be concerned with the quality of staff being brought on"
