I have been working at Terathink full-time

    Pros

People are very nice, management actively works to get feedback from employees, frequent company evens, good benefits

    Cons

As with all contractor gigs you can end up with a difficult client.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work

I worked at Terathink full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I loved working for TeraThink. Highlights include my project manager, organizational leadership, HR, opportunity for employee involvement, great growth potential... the list continues. I greatly valued my time at TeraThink. If you were willing to work hard, you were easily recognized. The employee-organization relationship is very well balanced - You will get out what you put in.

    Cons

This isn't truly a con, but my passion closely aligns to data visualization and at the time there was only one project that required such expertise.

    Advice to Management

Keep it up! I earnestly loved being a part of such a well-equipped and capable organization.

I have been working at Terathink (More than 5 years)

    Pros

When I spoke with Paul Lombardi about joining TeraThink I was so impressed with his leadership style, & his vision for TeraThink, TeraThink continuously pushes the envelope. We have the best leadership team in the Industry I'm just as excited about the future here as I was when I joined 6 1/2 years ago. I'm thrilled to be part of such a great company where ideas are heard , incorporated & careers are made."

    Cons

None that I can think of.

    I worked at Terathink full-time

    Pros

    HR staff is good,

    Cons

Most project managers are good. But at least one behaved like an overseer of a boot camp. The management rewarded this person by tuning out any complaimts. It is sad that Terathink lost a v good task order to competion as this overseer created doubts about 2 terathink employees who were doing superb jobs.

    Advice to Management

Listen to facts and truth, not what you like to hear

I worked at Terathink full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Pays well and offers decent 401k matching

    Cons

Program managers do speak to corporate so nothing gets passed down. Company is so shady they fire an employee one day before their one year mark so employee can't get FMLA which protect their job instances of medical absence due to injury.

    Advice to Management

Get it together. If you were able to keep your staff around long enough maybe someone would have n understanding of what is really going on. When you go through 3 or 4 PM's on a contract in less than a year that says something about your organization.

    I worked at Terathink full-time

    Pros

Used to be a great place to work.

    Cons

Different rules for different people. Not flexible at all. CEO became greedy and lost track of company values that used to set this company apart. Company has had HUGE turnover the past couple of years and it's not surprising. Bonuses are practically non-existent and almost no room for growth.

    Pros

TeraThink has competitive salary and amazing benefits, but the real value comes from the culture which has a family atmosphere and an open door to the executive team, including the CEO. TeraThink constantly strives to make a better experience for all employees.

    Cons

The government contracting industry can sometimes be uncertain.
