I worked at Terex full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Some great people holding it together and keeping the place going.
Some staff who genuinely care try to get new starts on a good footing as regards training and advice.
A few people seem to try to make it a pleasant place to work, which was nice considering the rest.

    Cons

Work life balance is non existent.
Backstabbing and at every opportunity by management and anyone in senior
    Culture of infighting and mistrust.
Constant flow of staff out of the exit door.
Staff are mostly negative and don’t seem to enjoy their work.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of some of the negative staff and the place could be rescued from its current state.
Otherwise the place is almost unbearable after 6 months/ year.
Clients treat staff like dirt and are allowed to get away with it as management will point the finger at the slightest hint of trouble and their subordinates will also backstab you at any opportunity. Also a culture of this happening repeatedly between departments and sites. Witnessed from day one.
     Needs rectified immediately.

I worked at Terex full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great people. Good learning experience. Reasonable pay. People that try really hard can get rewarded.

    Cons

Turbulance = not knowing if you'll be laid off, doing the same job you applied for. Management has a tendency for not being aligned though they are each individually good people and good at what they do...there is a lot of ego involved. The culture is a mix of good and bad. People are great but general motto is that of, "why bother".

    Advice to Management

Align with each other more often, keep doing well at the safety culture but focus more on quality and accountability.

Hire outsiders with fresh perspectives as senior leaders. Accountability needs to be improved at all levels, retain solid performers. Streamline internal process across business units.
