    Going nowhere fast

    Feb 16, 2023 - Anonymous Employee

    Business Outlook

    Pros

People are nice. Fully remote environment, if you like that.

    Cons

Leadership is nowhere to be seen. A third round of layoffs in less than 12 months just occurred, without any other commentary of what else is being done internally to tighten up finances. Career development is sketchy, objectives change all the time so it's difficult to get a true idea of what's successful and what's not. Product limitations and missing key functionality are always "coming in the next release", making it difficult to work with customers.

    Pros

    Cool product, & talented employees

    Cons

Leadership keeps cycling in the same type of folks (maybe they went to school together, play golf together, etc..). Fresh leadership is needed.

    A resilient and good organization

    Jul 13, 2022 - Anonymous Employee

    Pros

Working with some of the most intelligent and hardworking pros out there. I learn something new daily. Everyone here is willing to roll up their sleeves to help and dig in to solve hard problems. Growth opportunity. Over my three years here, I've changed roles based on growth opportunity for myself and the organization. While not for everyone, I appreciate the opportunity to elevate my skillset. From my POV, signing up to work at a tech scale means change is the only constant. That may be a con to some who prefer a company and role that is more constant, but I've been impressed with the company's resiliency and ability to adapt to change during a few years of really turbulent economic conditions. Thought change brings challenges, the company continues to strive to build a good organization to work for. Commitment to customers and adapting for customer needs.

    Cons

As mentioned above, from my POV, signing up to work at a tech scale means change is the only constant. However, that could easily be viewed as a con. If you want a job that is "check the box and leave" a tech scale up like Terminus may not be the right speed for you.

False promises, poor US leadership, sinking ship

Sep 20, 2022 - Sales in Atlanta, GA

    Business Outlook

    Pros

My direct manager gave myself and my team (before we were all made redundant) an amazing experience, good coaching, work life balance, Kudos to them all.

    Cons

Literally everything else is a con. Hiring an investor as COO was a terrible idea, this individual ruined an extremely loyal and passionate culture of young ambitious professionals. Leadership are an absolute trainwreck and will sacrifice the hardest working employees to save their own skin. All to save the costs equivalent to two of their base annual salaries, Greedy. Terminus don't even do ABM internally. And provide sales with the bare minimum support, cherishing their own MQLs as if they are golddust when they are 90% trash leads... Do they have the ability to provide any kind of service that would help a business grow through the use of their "abm" tools? Let alone support their own sales guys enough to close deals? Nope, they barely even use the tools themselves. And that says everything.

    Pros

The great people are key to this company. Also, there is a great level of collaboration and teamwork.

    Cons

Figuring out financial situation and making more conservative decisions so that they don't have to do 3 layoffs in one year.

    Pros

Terminus is a top-notch company to work for and I am proud to be a part of it. At Terminus, I have met the most talented people who embody the true epitome of teamwork. It is encouraging to work closely with thoughtful leaders who make sound and strategic decisions despite challenging situations. Terminus’ people-first culture instills trust and confidence through honesty, integrity and authenticity that starts from the top down. Tim Kopp, Kasey Johnson, and Sean Brady have been instrumental in taking the organization to the next level towards a path of continued success. Terminus’ leaders and employees’ commitment to promoting diversity, equity and inclusion has been unequivocally superb, ensuring that our uniqueness and differences are celebrated and respected. I can attest to the fact that opportunities for career advancement within Terminus are available for the taking if you are up to the challenge.

    Could've been good

    Sep 25, 2022 - Anonymous Employee
    Recommend

    Business Outlook

    Pros

The people there are generally good people. I would've helped move a washer/dryer for at least half of my former coworkers. Team-building exercises were pretty decent. There's a lot to learn with all of the different data sources. Most of the senior leadership were genuinely good people.

    Cons

Very few engineers were actually promoted in my time there. There were a few lateral moves, but not many upward. When leadership (VP and higher) and founders moved on, duties were being consolidated and positions were not backfilled. Many long-tenured employees left in the couple months leading up to layoffs. Engineers had depth on the particular products they worked on, but there was hardly any breadth of knowledge across the whole platform.
