    Pros

Large company and a clear career progression path available from graduate level to senior team. Actively moved around the business to give you breadth of experience. Structured learning and development training available for all.

    Cons

Negative working environment, at the time constantly changing direction from senior management, which made it difficult to get behind the company strategy.
Pay below market rate vs. graduate schemes at other retailers

    Advice to Management

Reward and develop employees or they will leave. Give clear guidance on career progression and development areas to work on.

I worked at Tesco full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Good path for progression
    Offers accredited external training
Lots of responsibility for someone new to their career

    Cons

Progression and training seems to come to those where there face seems to fit.
Accredited training was only offered to the graduate scheme supposedly, however I know of a lot of other people that it was paid for. I asked numerous times with many years of committed employment with the company under my belt and I was denied.
