I worked at Tessada & Associates full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Exciting work on our nation's space programs in Houston. The company management was very hands off and let you get your work done. Overall, the co-workers were great to work with as well.

    Cons

Typical government contractor with little to zero opportunities for advancement. Overall, the benefits were pretty terrible. And I was significantly underpaid for the level of effort expected.

    Advice to Management

Be up front about the lack of mobility, sub-standard pay practices and zero advancement opportunities. Don't take advantage of those who are passionate about the work.

    Pros

Benefits, paid leave, great managers that are very competent and will go to bat for you. Client side is a mixed bag however.

    Cons

Tuition reimbursement, is fairly minimal and it takes a long time to get it processed. Other than that, I enjoyed everyday of work.
