I worked at Tetra Pak full-time

    Cons

None that I can think of.

I worked at Tetra Pak (More than a year)

    Pros

Good compensation and benefit, business is very profitable

    Cons

Terrible work life balance and supervisors

    Advice to Management

The culture was too much local and was not diverse enough for an international person. Suggest to become more open to people with different culture set.

I worked at Tetra Pak full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

My boss, benefits, work from home, challenges, never a dull moment

    Cons

Everything else - flat org, incompetent middle management, highly incompetent people in positions of power and decision making not actually being able to make decisions because they don't want to get in trouble, no ownership of processes or responsibilities, foreign hubs to try to drive down expenses that cause more problems and cost more money than they do good, people trying to force business culture of other countries onto US even though the US is very lawsuit happy, because of incompetent middle management people in other departments pick up the slack for processes they are not even responsible for, employee surveys don't appear to be taken seriously, too much red tape to go through to get simple things taken care of, global projects are mandatory and refuse to listen to affected departments input, very biased based on who you know and not your knowledge base or work history, promotions go to people from south america even though expenses are supposed to be cut and it costs more money to bring someone up from Brazil to the US.

    Advice to Management

bring back employee incentives and consider limiting which positions qualify for relocation from another country. Promote within market.

I worked at Tetra Pak full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good company to work for, overal the benefits are good, most departments have flexible schedule. The company care about its image.

    Cons

Little or no opportunities for advancement. Merging NA with SA cluster made it even worse. More and more jobs are moved to developing countries. Merging department over three continents makes the communication dificult.

I worked at Tetra Pak full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Continuous learning, challenging work well for a GIM department, have work-life balance, flexible working hours, work from home once a week except Mon and Fri

    Cons

Slow to move up to the career ladder. You really need to build good relationship with your peers and upper management aside from your technical skills.
