I worked at Teva Pharmaceuticals full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Top notch people with great work ethic. People and patients first and successful business will surely follow. Good benefits, and until recently feeling like you matter. New CEO seems to have taken the reigns, and hopefully has come in time to save this wonderful company.

    Cons

Teva is going through reorganization and will still be reducing their staff.

    Advice to Management

Get the debt down so you can get your people back! The culture is changing, and perhaps it had to in order to survive, but don’t forget the folks however great or small that worked hard to make the giant generics that you are! It was branded medicine that helped make that possible too!

I worked at Teva Pharmaceuticals (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It was a small site so you knew everyone and were able to easily learn about all functions within the site. Everyone was encouraged to bring up new ideas so we weren't stuck with doing everything the same way it was always done.

    Cons

The site was closed as a result of the restructuring of Teva.

I worked at Teva Pharmaceuticals full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Great people, talented people. Good culture.

    Cons

Terrible business decisions. Acquisition led to total fallout, layoffs, and toxic work environment. Recommend waiting to see if company stabilizes before seeking work here.

    Advice to Management

Take care of those left holding the fort.

I worked at Teva Pharmaceuticals full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great people, fast pace, middle management open to ideas

    Cons

Bad acquisition led to total fallout, layoffs, and toxic work environment. I would wait til company stabilizes before seeking work here.

    Advice to Management

What's done is done, start to incentivize those who are still there.

I worked at Teva Pharmaceuticals full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Company had a great working atmosphere.

    Cons

Original company, "Watson Pharmaceuticals", closed down and was bought out by Teva. Aside from the transition time frame, nothing bad can be said about this company!

    Advice to Management

None at this time. I was happy with my time at Teva.

I worked at Teva Pharmaceuticals full-time

    Pros

Flexible working hours and able to work from home, global projects

    Cons

Poor leadership, difficult time for company so no investment in employees development

I have been working at Teva Pharmaceuticals full-time

    Pros

Average experience at the site I work at is over 10 years per person. There's a lot of good people working at some of the sites. The headquarters / leadership is trying to be more supportive of workers. Teva is going through a lot of restructuring which creates some opportunities for jobs, but you must be willing to relocate

    Cons

Restructuring means a lot of jobs are being cut, and moral is sometimes low. There's a lot of extra work when people leave and they don't back-fill the positions.

  9. "Acquired by Teva recently. Constant challenges from tightening of budget, static culture"

I have been working at Teva Pharmaceuticals full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Medical benefits are still good. They do seem to value long term people who don’t mind staying in current position. Opportunity for promotions good with BS degree

    Cons

Tight budgets make for constantly vexing issues with systems and equipment. Did not get yearly bonus last year. Mobility not good with BA or high school ed.

    Advice to Management

There has been an increasingly damaging and untenable cultural and operational separation between a top heavy “Meeting Culture” management and the production core workers and support. The Meeting Culture group that runs the site is shockingly ignorant of actual operations.

    Pros

Strong foundation to keep company moving forward

Top management needs training to 'motivate' their teams

    Advice to Management

Implement a process to run boss/management evaluation by direct reports
