I have been working at Teva Pharmaceuticals full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

A lot of dedicated, experienced, supportive staff with great team spirit.

    Cons

Truly terrible management who do not support staff. Some senior managers have worked their way up through the ranks, with little or no managerial experience or training and definitely very few personnel skills. By having a culture of negativity and bullying towards staff has led to key members of staff leaving and many others looking for alternative employment.

    Advice to Management

Think twice before you employ new managers who have been sacked twice for misconduct. There is a reason why other companies got rid of them.

I worked at Teva Pharmaceuticals full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great location in Research Park. Good products and some state of the art machinery to work with.

    Cons

Multiple changes of ownership of this company have led to a worst case example of toxic workplace culture. Employees are bitter and confused about their current status, while management makes no effort to clarify the situation. Stunningly incompetent people have worked their way into key operator positions, allowing deficiencies in both language skills and basic mechanical knowledge to perpetuate a dangerous work environment. this is the only manufacturing facility in which I have ever worked where the employees cheered when a process failed due to mechanical or operator issues. Racist, sexist and bigoted speech and behavior is routinely ignored while the management is absent and uninterested. As to be expected, most of the best people have already fled this toxic workplace.

    Advice to Management

This facility could be so efficient, but it will not run without serious changes. Remove most of the middle management and supervisors and bring in new people who care. Flush out the toxic employees and institute training and oversight procedures. Tell your employees what is going on with the company.
