I worked at Texas Dow Employees Credit Union full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The people who work here really put their heart and soul into the members and their work. You will no doubt make a friend here for life and your fellow co-workers will truly help you get through the rough days. Very hard-working people make up this company and without them, it wouldn't be the credit union it is today.

    Cons

While leadership says that they are transparent, they are really as clear as mud so what they say and do are totally separate from each other. There is an emphasis on helping you move up in the company, but don't be fooled by that either. Hard work, effort, and spending tireless hours away from your family go unnoticed by certain Managers which is quite sad.

    Advice to Management

Spend more time appreciating the employees you have. Get to know them personally and reward them when appropriate for the hard work they've accomplished. When they have ideas, listen to them and possibly consider.
