    Pros

It's a stable workplace for the most part with decent job security

    Cons

The pay is not up with the times, no cost of living increases (inflation) for salaries for over 20 years. The state has not funded the pension fund adequately for over 30 years, and just discontinued it for new employees.

    Pros

There are some good people working here

    Cons

Cliques. Cronyism. Too many managers, very few leaders. Poor communication, so the gossip mill is always churning. Low pay, raises rare. Benefits are not half as good as they claim. They want "chair and a check" attitudes, but with a smile.
