I interned with Texas Instruments for 2.5 months and I found that the people of the company were very supportive and helpful. Work culture is amazing . The company puts it's trust on the employees and therefore there is no problem in taking breaks during work hours provided you complete your work within the deadline . The HR is also very responsive . Environment is peaceful and harmonious for anyone to work and bring out his best performance

The atmosphere can be boring for people who like dynamic environment as startups.

I worked at Texas Instruments as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Your learning will never stop. Everybody around you is smarter than you which will keep you motivated.

Project given is realistic, exciting and fun. Pay is very good for freshers.

People here mostly stay for long time. There are not very strict timings in office.

You can come and leave as you want if your manager is ok with that.

They are focusing only on their strengths to keep them stable and growing which is a very safe thing to do.

    Cons

There is very little transparency regarding PPO process. TI should work in this regard. Also, there can be communication gap between interns and managers.

For 2-months and 6-months internships, interns are not sure about their PPO till last day. Dont even ask about 1-year internships. HR is too formal here which can be a good thing.

    Advice to Management

Bring some transparency in PPO process and bring some feedback mechanisms in the process.

There should be two way communication between interns and employees. Dont keep them hanging midway. Rest everything you are doing is more than perfect.
