    Pros

Solid senior leadership, great benefits (healthcare, timebank/vacation, family support), culture of hard work and ethics, passionate employees

    Cons

Large company that can feel bureaucratic at times, flat organizational structure

    Advice to Management

I worked at Texas Instruments full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Steady work for 20 years, the department I worked in was a small and personal group, like a family. We had cookout's several times a year. The people were all very professional and communication and collaboration was great.

    Cons

Management from California, did not understand our design center in Fort Collins, although we were profitable, and all self starters, they no longer wanted to manage us long distance, so they closed our design center.

    Advice to Management

I have no advice for management, as I do not understand closing a department that is making more money than it is costing. Nor do i understand why, when stock prices are good the individual contributors are fired when the company is manager top heavy.

I worked at Texas Instruments as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Have analog experts to solve your questions and help you find new questions. The manager help me not only on technical issues, also teach me how to improve my social skills inside the company and team. A lot of smart interns to live with which means lots of new ideas.

    Cons

My manager is busy. I don't get so many chances to sit with him discussing questions. So I need to well prepare my questions.
