I have been working at Texas Roadhouse part-time for more than a year

    Pros

some of the coworkers are nice and the guests are friendly

    Cons

drama filled unfair managers who favor people for the most random reasons. Three table section is a joke, and what makes it worse, its only enforced for some people - other get more tables - like managers boyfriend and bffs- and management pretends not to notice.

    Advice to Management

recognize 1. fairness is the name of the game and 2. you are not the only one who has to "feed your family"!!

I worked at Texas Roadhouse full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Good money and fun place to work at with a team oriented staff

    Cons

Managers have favorites and will put you in 2 table sections randomly

    Advice to Management

Stop putting people in 2 table sections. 2 table sections should be used for new people and people who can not handle 3 tables. Cutting peoples money in half is never ok, thats how you loose employees.

I worked at Texas Roadhouse part-time

    Pros

Easy, great co workers, good pay depending on location, great to employees and great core values

    Cons

Small table sections and customer is always right, leading to abuse in comps and discounts

I worked at Texas Roadhouse part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Regular customers, flexible schedules, fun competitions, uplifting atmosphere in the right restaurants

    Cons

3 table sections regardless of activity so people can sit in your section all night and you make no money, tipshare is a joke and not the appropriate way to tip out other positions, absolute favoritism

    Advice to Management

No favoritism...and fire people who aren't working the way they should. The younger people have way too many chances.

I worked at Texas Roadhouse part-time

    Pros

was a good place to start out as a waitress, flexible schedule and decent money for a college student

    Cons

customers are cheap and table sections are small so you can't make as much money as you potentially could there

I have been working at Texas Roadhouse part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Discounts, Fun work enviroment, free bread while working

    Cons

3 table maximum at Corp Stores with most being 2 table sections, Money sucks, 3% tip out to busters that don't do anything, unable to order food during shift and have to go to the bar to order your food

    Advice to Management

Up the table limit, hire food runners

I have been working at Texas Roadhouse part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Make good money Easy hours to work around school schedule Managers that actually care for you Free food if you close

    Cons

At the store I work at there aren’t enough tables to give everyone the usually 3 so they are forced sometimes to give people 2 table sections which of course sucks

    Advice to Management

Try not to have so many servers on slow nights like Monday- Wednesday. You don’t need the whole restaurant to have an open tables for these days other wise servers make little to no money
