I worked at Texas Roadhouse part-time (More than a year)

you can work your way up to being a server from a hostess, and the pay is minimum wage, the hours are good if you are in school or working another job

    Cons

you have to tip out a lot to the bar and the host stand and still have to pay extra if you don't want to roll your own silverware.

    Advice to Management

    hire more educated managers

I worked at Texas Roadhouse part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Decent tips, some fun employees, some fun competetive managers
-Bus Boy is the easiest job in the world!
-If you do your job without hassle, servers will love you, and managers will notice!
    -Some hard working employees!
-Managers understand outside life and are flexible with schedule
-Most money comes in on weekends

    Cons

-Most kitchen employees would not cooperate with servers daily and would cause small fights/arguments.
    - Kitchen (mostly the line cooks) will ask for help, but never give and can be rude
    - Like to mess up then blame others instead of moving on from problem

    Advice to Management

Don't let kitchen workers walk all over management or front of house servers. Its not the easiest job to be back of house worker, but Ive seen back of house loyal workers that cooperate and make my job easy, where I will bend over back to help them back. Those loyal employees later quit for being taken advantage of or are tossed away after such a long line of loyalty. KEEP THE LOYAL HARD WORKING EMPLOYEES!
