I have been working at Texas Steakhouse & Saloon part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Management was helpful and personable. Always willing to give you more than one chance. Management is pretty supportive. The cooks are great as well.

    Cons

Side work, side work, side work. Money is pretty mediocre. Schedule way to many servers. They often cut people way to late. Silverware count is way to high. Drama.

    Advice to Management

Be more open to how your employees feel about issues and take their advice.

    Pros

Good people to work with, Great General Manager and Kitchen Manager, District Manager was fantastic as well. Have recommend this Job to a few people.

    Cons

Lower pay rate then most Brands offer for this Job title for the amount of hours and work required. Very pro-company. I have seen many people leave for this reason.

I worked at Texas Steakhouse & Saloon part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Flexible schedule-
Able to work with some good people
    discount on food

    Cons

If your looking somewhere to work and advance this is not the place- one of the managers that was there when I worked there ended up moving back to doing waitressing because she wasn't getting paid enough for management. One of the managers up there is a terrible person and favorites a lot of the staff.

    Advice to Management

no advice, they know what they do wrong and refuse to correct the situations. If there is any reason as to why this place never has a lot of people, it's because management sucks.

I have been working at Texas Steakhouse & Saloon part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I have always enjoyed the fast-paced work environment of a restaraunt, the guests seemed nice and the interview process was really easy.

    Cons

The menu was a bit much to learn. The girl who trained me wasn't very attentive to her guests and the other servers there didn't care for teamwork or seem to have much of a work ethic at all. The management staff, aside from one, weren't very professional using profanity and making sexual jokes freely amongst the staff. The restaraunt itself was very unkempt and dirty.

    Advice to Management

I could tell the restaraunt was hurting for help and needed people to work there, but being a little more professional and showing a bit more pride in your work goes a long way.
