    I worked at Text100 full-time

    Pros

For the most part, the people are what make Text100 so great. They're smart, hardworking, creative, and most importantly, they're a fun group to be around. Combine that with a client roster full of some pretty impressive names and a great new office space in the Financial District, and you'd think it'd be the perfect environment for anyone that wants to advance their career at an established agency with a solid reputation.

Unfortunately, this isn't necessarily the case...

    Cons

It's a shame that for all the positives there are about working at Text100 overall, a few bad apples can completely change your entire experience.

You'll be hit or miss here depending on the team—some are unfortunately led by senior "leaders" with much lower values than others, which has resulted in an incredibly unmotivating and dishonest work environment.

If you want to work for someone that has adopted "playing favorites" as the trend, then this is the place for you. You'll watch in awe as a select few get away with completely inappropriate behavior without any repercussions of their actions, while others get berated for walking into a meeting two minutes late after their last meeting ran long. Unless you're willing to roll over and act like senior leadership on this team is king, guess which one of those you'll be...

    Advice to Management

Don't let a select few ruin the reputation you have.

Do more than just acknowledge the feedback you've received about upper management—take action on at least some level, or else continue to watch employee satisfaction fade. You've passively allowed one person to destroy the morale of almost an entire team, and have lost a slew of talented people in the process.

I have been working at Text100 (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Work with fun, creative, down-to-earth people who challenge you to be the best version of yourself. Not the same as everyone else - it's the diverse make-up of people all collectively working with great clients that has kept me here for many years.

    Cons

None that I can think of.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the genuine culture!

    Pros

Text 100 represents a solid PR agency, handling big-name clients with exposure across the tech industry. It has a work-hard, play hard mentality with strong management. Pay is reasonable, benefits standard, and on the whole employee feedback is listened to.

    Cons

As Text continues to grow and work alongside corporate giants it has lost its 'small agency' feel. Like many agencies, Text suffers from high-turnover across the board. The office pool table is largely unused and I have heard of manager's complaining about its use. Employees prefer to take their breaks sitting at their desks, surfing the net rather than being seen as "not working".

    Advice to Management

    None

    I worked at Text100 full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Advice to Management

Offen für Neues sein, auch wenn es von unteren Rängen kommt - auch wenn dadurch, kurzzeitig mit der "Tradition" gebrochen werden muss.
