    I have been working at Textron full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

    Hard working, generally pleasant workforce Fairly good salary and benefits Have found senior leadership to be competent

    Cons

    Tolerance of poor performers is excessive Seems like very week there's a new org structure -- to include the BUs

    Perhaps that you might receive battlefield promotions...

    Cons

    Absolute chaos. Communications are horrible. Constant Turnover and lack of strategy Political and poor work life balance

    I worked at Textron full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

    - used to be international but Kautex still is and you can get some good experience - if you were on the Pension, then it was worth sticking around - fly in Private Jet here and there was nice and saved time at the Airport

    Cons

    -2 to 3 tier employee systems, the Haves, the have nots and worse the folks that have nothing -Health Care Plans -No Pension - 401 to linked to company stock price - relocation program - "good ole boys club still" -if you want to learn why "cash" is important this is a good job to learn from

    Pros

    Strong brands Decent compensation New CEO is a no-nonsense, hard-driving leader, which is sorely needed at Textron.

    Cons

    Difficult to move between business units - this is likely to change with new CEO No obvious career planning - this is likely to change with new CEO Too top heavy and bureaucratic - this is likely to change with new CEO
