    Pros

Great Atmosphere. Great Team Members. Management is good. Lots of freedom to manage your job how you like.

    Cons

Stressful due to last minute changes that can effect your management of parts and schedules. Upper management is not "in the trenches" that much to understand true root causes.

    The Power of A Position

    Pros

You will learn the importance of putting the right people in positions.

    Cons

It's evident that certain people in upper management were hired as a favor. Plant Managers hire their relatives or a former interns who attended their alma mater. They pass the leadership baton around amongst friends to keep unbiased qualified people out. They will hire African Americans for mostly assembly or other positions associated with the floor. The diversity they claim to have is very much manipulated.

    Pros

    I don’t have any pros

    Cons

They don’t care about family work life, or hard works. If u slow and lazy you will go far in the company. You can’t talk to upper management, upper management doesn’t care about the dealers and it shows by how they talk and treat them. You have to beg for vacation, hope u don’t have reservations planned they will make u cancel them last minute. If you want to be a slave and feel under appreciated then this is the job for you.

    Horrible Leadership on Every Level

    Pros

    It wasn't far from home

    Cons

Where to begin. You spend a majority of your time hunched over in an assault vehicle(being built for foreign countries), when you get caught up...more sitting in the vehicles.Instead of finding more for us to do they make you stay put in the vehicles so upper management does not see you.Parts are very hard to come by also, so when you are assigned something to do, you may or may not have the parts to even get started. Last but certainly not the least or last, safety meetings were spent talking to employees like children.over dumb things like who said what to who and why. Do Not Apply Here!!

    Terrible company

Jun 14, 2016 - Painter in Slidell, LA

    Business Outlook

    Pros

They are willing to hire you with no experience. This seems like a good thing at first, until you realize that they hire you under false pretenses.

    Cons

They put up job openings online under the appearance that you are applying to work with them directly. You are not. They hire through a temp agency, and they try to cut new employees as quickly as possible. They look for the slightest deficiencies in performance, and report them to upper management without even giving you any warning. Textron is a fraud.

    No growth potential.

    Mar 26, 2015 -
    Recommend
    CEO Approval
    Business Outlook

    Pros

Most positions pay above average salaries. Offers best vision insurance available. Medical insurance is decent but costs quite a bit out of pocket for employees.

    Cons

Company doesn't care about their employees. Upper management brings in friends from other companies instead of promoting qualified employees from within. Hard work and dedication is not rewarded. Employees that blow the whistle on management are retaliated against.
