I worked at The Acquisition Group full-time

    Pros

    There's nothing good here, seriously.

    Cons

You have to work your hardest to make money. Even when you do that, you find that you worked 8+ hours and made less than a kid working at McDonald's. It doesn't matter how driven you are or how many people you try to sell this stuff to. They've probably already heard the same speech from someone else before. Don't bother doing door to door sales, it's a waste of time. This isn't...

I worked at The Acquisition Group full-time

    Pros

None it's a Scam and pyramid scheme

    Cons

They lie to you about the job description, give you a title that doesnt exist and give you a completely different role when it's all door to door sales. They trick you by showing you that you can make a high salary by showing you the sales rep ahead of you has a brand new car when its borrowed from the owner. They didn't even take my sin number to pay me or any information...

    Pros

    I don't work here anymore

    Cons

you get lied to on a daily basis by management. Overpromise & Under deliver. When I worked at TAG there was always problems with my pay. They will promise you the sun , moon & stars and not follow thru. Given the growth structure they use . you are constantly being used and abused by management as what you do determines how well they are paid. Cons

door to door selling lies You cant just tell someone they will do marketing and then trick them into taking a job. Also when you reach out to someone who is educated in marketing and communications, and then tell them that their education doesn't matter. Its pure commission job, if you work for 8 hours and sell nothing you made no money...

Be more polite, lie less about money and making 100K a year, as well as "six figure income"

Easy to get hired. 30 minutes interview. If you know lot of people and work really hard you can make some money

    Cons

    It's a commissioned based position to work from 10am - 10pm as a door-to-door sales rep. It's tough.

I worked at The Acquisition Group full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Work for Telus, gain some door to door exp.

    Cons

I joined Upstat after TAG, TAG is screwing people over, they are paying agents $35 for Internet and TV, while Upstat is paying $65 for internet 50 mbps, and $55 for TV. And Upstat has the same advancement structure, same override for commission. Why would anyone work for TAG while doing the same job and getting paid half?? More than half of the team i'm working with at Upstat were from TAG, because they get paid more...

    Advice to Management

Treat you agents same with other vendors otherwise you will be screwed by yourself, nobody will stay if you are paying people half of other vendor and don't say other vendor don't have the advancement structure because they have the same.

I worked at The Acquisition Group full-time

    Pros

Training is almost nothing, they only teach you a picht and list of price. This is the new slavery. Long days 10 even 12 hours a days, 100 % commission, cero benefits, stupid meeting every single day. Good if you literally like door to door sales. This is a job for people who need money urgently and can't find better jobs. Nothing to learn fir yourself. Long days working and walking visiting small business trying...

    Cons

As said above, no contribution for your career unless you start up a business based on door to door sales. I define this business as new slavery. Some Saturdays and Sundays you are required to work. No business cards (only paid by yourself), no tag with company logo and your name. No insurance at all, you take all risk on streets. They don't give you copy of contract signed...

    Advice to Management

Review territory carefully before being assigned. I know you can't improve benefits because you are paid by commissions too, however try to include something in order to retain people longer.
