I worked at The Acquisition Group full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

I left TAG in 2017 after a great few years working for them in Alberta. I worked hard, made a ton of money, got my first promotion in a few months, never looked back. Ended up managing my own team and making even more more. Exec team was awesome and most of them seem to still be there now. Great leadership. Proud to work at TAG. Gave me a solid base of sales skills and management skills for the rest of my career.

    Cons

Long hours, gotta work your way up the chain (pros and cons). Means managers have been in your shoes.

    Advice to Management

    Keep hustling.

I worked at The Acquisition Group full-time for more than a year

    Pros

I made more money in 6 months working with The Acquisition Group than I make in a year in my new job. You have to work hard, but you're paid well for it. Lots of opportunity to move up in the company.

    Cons

Long hours some days, disorganized at times. Managers were supportive, especially on hard days.

    Advice to Management

More leadership training for people who you identify as potential managers.

I worked at The Acquisition Group full-time for less than a year

    Pros

You can walk on the street all the day and been rejected by 50 people, and your manager will give you a lot of help and encourage, but they will never promote you.

    Cons

Long working hours Brian wash you, make you feel like you will be promoted and you are growing, but instead, you got a lot of useless selling skills. No base salary, walking all day long.

    Advice to Management

    treat your employees fair

I worked at The Acquisition Group full-time

    Pros

Ability to move up quickly and in control of the money you make

    Cons

Unrealistic targets The people you talk to have most likely already talked to someone selling the same thing ~2 - 4 weeks ago. There's not a lot else you can sell them on Very very long hours

I worked at The Acquisition Group

      Pros

There really isn't any for this company. The whole pay is through commission unless you are really good at convincing people to sign up.

      Cons

Working for this company meant long hours, less time at home, and working during the weekends. I feel like this company will not fit with anyone who wants to balance personal and work equally. While working for the company, we were taught to be pushy to the customers, which felt so wrong when it comes to delivering the proper customer service. The long...

      Advice to Management

Be honest to your potential employees and working 7 days a week with no day offs is literally abusing the working system.

I worked at The Acquisition Group full-time

      Pros

the only pro is the money, its good money but 90% of what they would have us do is sign up everyone and do whatever we could to get it booked in our system after that we didnt care as we had gottten paid for it. can be good money if you dont mind lying, and scamming people.

      Cons

long hours, no real advancement, brainwashing managers. They are constantly trying to brainwash people into staying because otherwise who would stay on a 100% commision basis where they are telling you to be as pushy as possible and not care about anyone else so long as you are making money. which sounds great until you start getting angry phone calls because you were told to...

      Advice to Management

get your stuff together, learn some better communication, dont lie to people and tell them they're going to making x and then when they get their cheque its hundreds of dollars off and they dont know why. Stop thinking of yourself as an entrepaneur you are running a door to door sales department who teaches people to try and scam people so that they can still make a paycheque.

TAG is a really amazing and great place to work at with very friendly and helpful people. It gives students a chance and offers flexible hours and an opportunity to work from home which provides a good work-life balance :)

      Cons

You have to be ready to work long hours as needed to keep things running smoothly and on time more so if you're studying and working!

      Advice to Management

Keep up the good work and keep adding more companies to the roster :)
