I worked at The Advocator Group full-time for more than a year

    Pros

-Bagel Friday -Some wonderful teammates who made the shifts bearable. -after work activities such as paint nights and company outings

    Cons

I worked at the advocator group for almost a year after graduating college. While I was able to gain some valuable skills and knowledge at the job, I wouldn't recommend it to any one I care about. While I was there about half of my teammates would only do the "easy" tasks and appointments and management did not seem to care when it was brought up. The work load was backlogged because there was too much work for the...

I have been working at The Advocator Group

    Pros

The only con about this place is having a job, the annual company meeting and bagel Friday's

    Cons

Thie mission statement behind the Advocator group is very enriching however the actual service that the Advocator group provides daily is very contradicting to the mission of the company. The Advocator group has been a revolving door from the day I started, with very very frequent terminations of employment both voluntary and involuntary. The company fails to provide the service to their clients that they promise...

    Advice to Management

Senior management need to pay closer attention to the supervisors they have leading their staff. I also urge Brown and Brown to fully audit the services the company they are backing provide. All the real company reviews are the same its time to stop faking good reviews stop making excuses and make the change that's going to benefit the claim

Clearly you have a great deal of feedback about your experience working at The Advocator Group. Respectfully, many of the statements that you make in this review are false. We pride ourselves in the advocacy that we offer our clients, including the thorough hearing case prep that ...

I worked at The Advocator Group full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Free bagel Friday's, early release on holidays, Julie Turpin is amazing and had a great vision for her company, her interaction with her staff was always a positive one.

    Cons

During the interview at TAG the supervisors paint a pretty picture. Teamwork, supportive supervisors and respect. Sounds ideal! This continues until you step out on the floor after orientation. Only then do you realize the crock of information you had been fed. There was one great supervisor, who genuinely cared about us client advocates. They need more supervisors like CC, maybe...

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees, Considering they're the ones doing the work, day in and day out. These reviews are all focused on the same issue: the supervisors and who you have leading "the floor". You have a great team at hand and a lot of dedicated workers, it will continue to be a revolving door and issue the longer these problems go unnoticed unresolved.

Thank you for your feedback; we are not perfect and are always open to constructive feedback on how we can improve. While we appreciate that everyone has the opportunity to review their employer, some of your statements are not accurate. We provide PTO in addition to 10 paid holidays ...

I worked at The Advocator Group full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Pros? Location for me, that is about it.

    Cons

Where do I start? Let me first say that when I first started here I loved it. (that was years ago) When the company got bought by a even worse insurance company, and the entire company changed its way of handling cases, it all went downhill from there. There was new management, new senior leadership teams who had NO idea what we as client advocates did. All the client...

    Advice to Management

Learn the job. Sit with the Client Advocates and see how think their days are stretched. Care about your employees. Lessen the case loads. Hire more qulaified people. Stop giving out "toys" and offer more pay or more PTO. Give the employees what they are asking for so they actually stay longer than a year. Hire managers who already KNOW the SSDI process. Stop micromanaging and monitoring bathroom breaks. You hire adults,...
