Pros
At The Barrett Group our first order of business is helping you to clearly identify and professionally represent your true value. Can you identify your market value? Can you clearly articulate what it is that you have to offer a potential employer? What you deserve in terms of compensation? If you struggle with answering these questions you are not alone. So many of us, comfortable in our roles of fighting for others, furthering the efforts of our team, and shepherding the success of the projects for which we are responsible are somehow unable to represent and protect our own interests. Your career management consultant team will complete a comprehensive review of your entire career, including the positions you have held, your specific accomplishments, and your unique qualifications. A distinctive facet of this process is a live, double blinded interview of each of your references. Based on this individual, real world assessment, our career consultants, coaches and writers will create a highly motivational, employer-focused value proposition for you. These propositions will clearly demonstrate the benefit that you will deliver to a new employer or business partner. At The Barrett Group we work with our clients every step of the way – and our support does not end when a new job is found or career goal is met. As is part of our business philosophy, we look at our clients’ careers as a lifetime journey; things change, new situations are sought, opportunites are leveraged. We stand with our clients – as partners and, more importantly, as a comprehensive resource – as long as they need or want our support.
Cons
The work is very similar everyday; no variation.

Terrific Upper Management and Inter-Communication.
Jul 25, 2014 - Marketing Associate in Warwick, RIRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
The Barrett Group workplace is friendly and inviting. Upper management is very involved in everyday operations and the President is consistently courteous, humorous and engaging. The executive team supports and fosters a sense of autonomy in their subordinates: you are able to create your own projects and set your own schedule so long as work is completed in a timely fashion. As a virtual company, communication is very important, and the entire team is in constant contact with one another. There is no part of the company that exists in isolation from the rest of the organization. One of the greatest perks of working for The Barrett Group is the variation of the workload. Because each client is unique, employees are never asked to complete the same tasks over and over, novel requests are submitted daily.
Cons
Because of the personal nature of clients’ job searches there are a lot of checkpoints in place to ensure complete confidentiality. The delays caused by these steps can be frustrating to work around. Multitasking is a required skill.
