      Pros

Independence and an employee membership come with the job.

      Cons

-Bad hours ( Be up several hours before the sun - never get full time work. ) -Low Pay ( most jobs here pay $12-$16 dollars per hour, and for the hours/customer service expectations/expectations from management, it isn't worth such a small amount. ) -Low Job Security ( The Bay Club is a turn and burn profit focused corporation who has a main goal of showing their newly acquired investors that they can make them profits and that they can do it quickly. Unfortunately this means that for newly acquired locations, many people are terminated and not replaced, and many people left because of the lack of communication and transparency from the new management. Morale and positivity are low, profits are up) - There is almost no HR presence with this company. There is no representative on site, and they only way you can really get in touch with them is to email them, but the lack of interest in having resources for their employees is apparent.

      Low pay, stingy company

      Pros

Free gym membership at most locations

      Cons

High turnover rate due to low pay. Management is too stingy to invest in its employees or upgrade its payroll technology from the 80's. Some employees are even UNDERPAID and are waiting on paychecks due to the outdated technology and general lack of concern in paying employees fairly. If you work on a holiday, there is no holiday pay as well. For such a seemingly high-end club you would expect the company to have better business ethics.

Low pay, as Bay Club presence increases the environment is really changing in a negative way. They work you until you quit.

      Do NOT recommend working here...

      Pros

Can't really think of any honestly. You get a free membership which is ok I guess but if you are working there full-time especially in the corporate office I don't know when you'd have the time to use it.

      Cons

      - No company culture. 10+ hour work days w/ very little recognition or reward. - Low pay - Company is growing a ton but not matching it with enough support for employees - Upper management seems to care more about expansion than the morale of the work place and the happiness of their employees - Very much "who to blame" culture - they like to finger point when something goes wrong instead of coming up with an organized, positive process on how to move forward.
