    Positive Outlook

I worked at The CBE Group full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Paid training Paramount senior management Superior benefit package Excellent schedules available Friendly environment

    Cons

Extremely stringent rules about missing work, even for family emergencies Uneven break schedules Non-compliance of rules for some employees regarding work attendance; Strict for others

    Advice to Management

Do unto all as promised or do unto all as necessary. One person's family emergency is just as important as another. Some were given PTO during family emergencies, others were fired for missing work, even though work performance was outstanding.

I have been working at The CBE Group full-time for less than a year

    Pros

They allow you to make up missed time within the same week.

    Cons

Horrible training and work ethic. Have you working at a rate of $10.75 an hour when you're supposed to still be learning in a 5 week training program. No one knows what they're talking about, get different answers constantly. Takes a whole month just to get paid for 2 weeks. No pay raises unless you apply and get advancement. You don't just get promoted. Very strict attendance policy. Benefits are shotty to say... the least. No breaks during the 8 hr shift. But you can get up to use restroom if you have to. You have to wait 90 days to use any benefits or time off. Call center is pretty dirty and is a depressing environment. Later on the company is planning on having people share desks and use lockers for all personal belongings. No cell phones or pens/ paper allowed. Lots of work and things they expect you to remember for little pay! Definitely the worst call center and company I've ever worked for.

    Advice to Management

Get it together and stop treating employees so badly. There are better companies and better paying call centers out there.

I worked at The CBE Group full-time for more than a year

    Pros

at first it seemed like a great place to work, they have drawings for prizes and buy you lunches

    Cons

management is meh, change hours and days off without warning, younger people were paid more even without experience, promises of getting more than one contract never happened so no diversification, teams were made and the need for them wasn't there

I worked at The CBE Group full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Fraud investigation offline was interesting

    Cons

Offline teams are frequently thrown online without warning. There is then no time to complete the case you were working on when the phone begins to ring. You will be kept online, sometimes for days, with you caseload piling us. Management comes out making announcement after announcement when you are online and you are expected to hear and understand those announced messages even if they're made far from your desk.... The management also frequently instructs its employees to lie to customers. Very poorly managed business run by. very inexperienced people with a skewed moral base.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees like people instead of machines without bladders. Put announcements out in printed form-- you can't be heard over screaming customers. I quit in disgust over your dishonest practices.
