I have been working at The CMI Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great bonus, awesome leadership, opportunity to grow. If you are a good employee and do your part you have the potential do go FAR with this company!!

    Cons

It's a pretty fast pace environment but hey....it keeps you busy and the days seem to fly by.

    Advice to Management

Keep the upbeat positive approach you have with your people. It pays off! :)

  2. "Okay place to work. Very rude customers"

    Pros

The pay, will work with any schedule, fun and loud environment, decorating for holidays, fun rewards for when you accomplish a goal

    Cons

HORRIBLE RUDE CUSTOMERS (nothing to really do about it). You get called everything but a child of God & are constantly talked to like a dog. Supervisors sometimes wouldn’t have ANY sympathy for what customers/debtors were dealing with. For example, we were still bugging people demanding money after Hurricane Harvey hit last year. They’d ask us to ask the customers if they had a relative to help pay or tell them we wouldn’t cal for another 30 days but WHO CAN BE BACK ON THEIR FEET WITHIN 30 days AFTER LOSING EVERYTHING??? So unethical! Plus I had a 45min drive and I am a college student. Also, don’t listen to the bonus idea. You’ll be like DIY to bonus $40 from them which is nothing.

    Advice to Management

Be compassionate, stop micromanaging so much

I worked at The CMI Group part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They have good bonus incentive so you can make a lot of extra money if you work hard. You're following a lot of guidelines while collecting from customers and any mistakes will affect your bonus. You can also lose your bonus if the whole center is doing poorly on their numbers. Everyone working there is nice, even the managers. They do have to meet quotas though and if numbers aren't met, they're getting chewed out by upper management, and down the chain it will go.

    Cons

You feel like a number, especially if you're working from home. You can be doing well but you'll be called out for the smallest mistakes all the time so every meeting just feels negative. I enjoyed this job for a few months but after a year I had to leave.

    Thanks for your positive feedback!!
Please don't think of the position in terms of the hourly pay...think about your BONUS!! The bonuses are GREAT! We have a lot of new fringe benefits we have... More
