    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook

I worked at The Capital Grille full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Schedule flexibility through App

    Holiday increase through More guests

    Cons

Managers are VERY lazy, not eager to help
The Female Manager is very flirty always in Male Employees faces, very "catty" ... plays favorites.

The Senior Servers are RUDE, mean and hypocritical

The Kitchen will send crap to your table

Servers get sexually harassed or fights (physically) break out and nothing done

Servers are only making $150 avg. Nightly including 6yr Veteran Servers

Servers are being made to share large parties of 9 with another Server

The weekends are HORRIBLE! Servers getting stiffed on large bills. Manager has Petty cash and should pay Server but wants Bonus more.

Working with Servers who dont know basic scotch, whiskey, rum, etc... or who can carry 3 plates

    Advice to Management

Hire new Managers, new Staff. Bring in Seasoned Servers who arent running away your Longtime Guests. Care about your workers and stop GOSSIPING about them. Why are you involved in the drama...?? Stop placing the blame for your location not flourishing on your STAFF!!

  6. "Decent but not great"

I worked at The Capital Grille full-time

    Pros

Mobility- The Capital Grille is part of Darden and has many restaurants across the country. I was able to transfer from Seattle to New York without an issue.

    Cons

Inconsistencies in different locations- management in Seattle was night and day different than management in New York, despite supposed "company standards"

Not a particularly innovative menu. If you're looking to be on the forefront of the food frontier, this isn't the place for you.

    Cons

Have to be nice to guests even when they are rude, PARK in the garage. Work late hours.
