I have been working at The Centers full-time

    Pros

This week attended the first educational fair and was able to talk with the CEO. Being able to personally talk with him and him explain our programs was helpful. I enjoyed completing my training in a fun environment. HR is much more approachable than in the past.

    Cons

Still transitioning with new changes implemented in December, but hope it will resolve soon.

    Advice to Management

Spend time getting to know your staff. Hope to see more stuff engaging employees like the educational fair

    Pros

co-workers are great, paid leave time is good.

    Cons

So now a "consultant" is being paid (hefty money) to decide who stays or goes without discussing with supervisors or directors. She walks the halls like a gestapo and is running the show. Oh, she is also teaching our CEO how to be a CEO???? What's wrong with this picture you say??? Why is he still being paid and why is he still here? How can she make the decisions to fired someone without even talking to their supervisor, not knowing the vital part that position is to the company????? This company is one hot mess. Didn't think it could get worse but I am wrong. Wouldn't be surprised to see the doors close in the future.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of ALL the chief directors. They're all worthless. All of you don't have a clue of the work load on the remaining staff. It's obvious you don't care either. Pass the buck to the lower level employees and fire them because your "directives" aren't met. Face it, the decisions made by upper level are so stupid, wasteful, costly. And when the bottom line shows in the red you blame the lower level and fire more good loyal staff that stayed in there. Shame on all of you! By the way. We do have a few good Directors who are very appreciated. Feel bad for them.

    Pros

No pros. Only cons. Read other reviews. We can't all be making this up.

    Cons

It's hard to make a difference in mental health when administration have serious mental issues themselves.

I worked at The Centers full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

The purpose of the agency is to provide mental health treatment to clients who are suffering mental and behavioral health disorders, so the work itself is a pro.

    Cons

CEO, COO and all the top managers are either impotent or cruel.

    Advice to Management

Seek mental health treatment for yourselves. You are very unhealthy.

    Pros

Staff who truly care, provide much needed services to an underserved community

    Cons

Inexperienced upper management and administration, poor retention due to lack of training and patient to employee ratio

    Advice to Management

Improve communication to all staff members, administration needs to listen to your employees feedback in Acute Care, promote more qualified applicants from within, encourage continued education and cross training for all staff members, if all staff had a clearer understanding of administrations expectations you may find higher retention rates

I worked at The Centers full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Enjoyed working with clients, PTO

    Cons

No real help for clients, just medication. Company is primarily focused on money and managerial politics. All management and CEO need to be fired and replaced with human beings instead of monsters.

    Advice to Management

Spend at least one day on each unit trying to do the various jobs of all employees before you judge! Stop your nonsense because you aren't nearly as special as you think you are!
