Toxic Work Environment at TCF at Dolphin Mall
Aug 2, 2022 - Baker/Barista in Miami, FLRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Good hourly rate compared to most basic jobs: $14; different food purchasing options for employees (discounts or free)
Cons
Lack of management presence compounded the issue of employees in the bakery behaving disrespectfully and aggressively towards guests and coworkers. It was a nightmare working with such awful people.

Pros
It's a great place for beginners and regular workers! Management is laid back and just want to help and make sure everything is fine. They really know how to make you feel welcomed.
Cons
Haven't found anything. I'm still new on the job. I enjoy everything so far and like I said it's pretty easy and straight to the point.

Pros
Fun work environment, friendly staff, good money
Cons
Management was sloppy and usually too preoccupied with servers to lend a hand over in the bakery during peak hours
- Current Employee, less than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
Tip wise and pay is good enough to maintain a low budget lifestyle. Work more hours increase your earrings
Cons
The Management team seems to barely be on the same page and sometimes treat employees unfairly compared to other employees

Excellent Place to Refine Skills and Network
Apr 5, 2017 - Anonymous EmployeeRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
for a server/bartender, the pay is above average for similarly priced restaurant options; definitely a place to grow; excellent travel opportunities; Fortune 100 Top Companies to work for (#48) for the fourth year in a row
Cons
very rigid and sometimes unrealistic corporate guidelines; management salaries for external hires is higher than internal promotions

Pros
The people I work with are nice enough as long as you're not a server; if you're a server, good luck surviving the drama. The managers are good and really helpful.
Cons
Your guests SUCK. They'll talk to you however they want, make impossible demands, and swear at you because they can. Management kisses their butts even if it's the guests's fault and not ours. Guests are never held accountable, and half the time they get things for free because they're self entitled jerks.

Pros
I was able to make great money in a short amount of time.
Cons
The management team was awful in Palm Beach Gardens and was basically a revolving door. They did not promote within unless you worked as a server for a minimum of 10 years.
