Good Company overall
Aug 4, 2013 - Bartender in Chestnut Hill, MARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Good workers are taken care of. Long hours but usually there was money to be made if you didn't mind working. As far as restaurant jobs go, Cheesecake Factory is one of the better ones out there. Benefits are offered and the company is growing so there is room to move up in the company if that is your goal. For many people who are just there as a temporary landing spot while they figure out what they want to do, it's a good place to work where you can make good money in an entry level job.
Cons
Corporate Culture sometimes limiting. Sometimes long hours expected of staff

Great culture Management cares about employees it is a very busy restaurant so you can make a lot of money as a server flexible schedule
Cons
stressful at times lack of necessary tools sometimes favoritism
- Current Employee★★★★★

Allows for easy availability changes and there is always someone willing to pick up a shift if you can’t work.
Cons
The money is not as good as other restaurants for tips but it is consistent.

Good money but toxic environment
Dec 22, 2021 - Server in Huntington Beach, CARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
The company itself seems to have good values. You made good money there easily if you had good sections; not much side work as a server. I had great co-workers
Cons
toxic environment, poor management, and a lot biasness on schedules. you'd have to get along with the right people

Cons
None. Really the training is very advance. Very exhausting. However your definitely going to be more prepared and set up for success.

Pros
Wonderful place to learn invaluable customer service skills. A great opportunity for a restaurant career or a chance to make money while chasing your dreams. I love the annual Thanksgiving feast!
Cons
Cons typical of any restaurant job. The all white uniform was horrible.

Pros
Honestly, this company has a lot of resources and makes really good money. That being said, it is a very Top-Down Corporate run place: meaning that you do it their way or you will not last in the company. I've worked at 3 different locations throughout California and the managers (mainly the General Manager) make all the difference in the world. Once you start with the company, it can take time to prove yourself and earn the better shifts. It is pretty easy to make good money even in sections that are not good. It is a lot to take in at first, the menu is huge. The restaurant gets insanely busy and you have a lot to do work wise. But they tend to hire great people, and it has been a wonderful experience. James Frasier of Cerritos, CA, and James Westbrook of South San Jose are the two best GM's you could ever ask for :)
Cons
Their business model is to appease any guests that complains enough. I saw this devalue the restaurant and train guests to be needy and difficult.

Pros
The environment is always pleasant and your management team does everything in their power to help you succeed. The company also offers great benefits and is flexible with work hours.
Cons
As a server the money is never constant and often you have ti fight for the good shifts. It's also very hard and stressful work.
