Wonderful place to work
Apr 10, 2019 - Specialist in Calabasas, CARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
The people at the Cheesecake Factory corporate office (California) are some of the most passionate, amazing humans I've ever met. They really care - about you, about the company, about doing their best work. Many employees start in the restaurants, so the atmosphere at the office is very fun and authentic, not corporate-y or stuffy. People are their true selves at work and very inclusive of everyone from the second you start working there. Also in my personal experience, the work-life balance is very accommodating... it's rare to work late or take projects home with you. Overall a wonderful place to work!
Cons
Because the culture is so amazing, some things can fall by the wayside, like promotions and competitive benefits. I'm fortunate to have a manager who goes to bat for me, but others with managers who are less involved might have trouble getting promotions very quickly. It's important to stand up for yourself and make sure you're not being overlooked because you're happy in other ways at the company.

The definition of insanity.
Jul 3, 2020 - Prep/Line Cook in Greenwood, INRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
The only good thing about this place is its always busy so you can always work.
Cons
The management is completely incompetent and they only see their employees as numbers not as people. They will work you open to close to open to close and the ask you to stay late, and then even though you have you time slips that add up to 50+ hours you wont get any ot. They will do anything to save themselves money at the cost of their employees mental and physical well beings.

You have a professional setting with access to great benefits. The staff is very helpful and it’s an environment where the people you work with are cohesive.
Cons
Sometimes management does not follow the standards and things are in shambles. Understaffed in the bakery when it’s busy.

We are always striving for better and are encouraged to think proactively and be creative to solve challenges. We are given the ability to push our own boundaries of innovation and problem solving. The people you get to work with are all amazing and the tenure here is incredible. the lengthy tenure of the people shows what a great place to work this is.
Cons
I really do not have any cons.
