    Cons

Not a lot of hours until the holiday or if you work in a busy store all year round .part-time hours only 20 but sometimes a lot you get less than that! They pay no weekly

    Advice to Management

Apply to a company that gives more hours duh

I have been working at The Children's Place part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The employees I work/worked with have been some of the nicest ones I've ever met. There is no drama between associates and the team really works as a family. The SM and ASM really care about our lives and work with school schedules. They work really hard and do their best.

    Cons

The problem is the actual company. They don't allow for raises that the associates/managers deserve. My assistant manager and store manager get treated like they need to live and breathe the company but they don't get paid enough. The company makes so many changes in marketing that pressure for sales to compensate for their expenses is intense. The District and Regional managers expect our stores to be filled completely and spotless when we get minimal payroll.

By far the worst upper managed company I've ever heard of/worked for.

    Advice to Management

The district managers and regional managers need to work in the stores to understand that their expectations are impossible. Store managers are awesome.

    Pros

You get 30% discount off everything

    Cons

Very unrealistic expectations!! Stay away from working here. They burn you out!!! You think it will get better but the workloads are always heavy and they give you no hours. They expect you to do all this work with no hours and no help.

I have been working at The Children's Place full-time

    Pros

Everyday is something new to do. Helping customers one on one, rather it's finding an item or an entire outfit.

    Cons

Not enough weekly hours given to the store.

I have been working at The Children's Place part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

None really, just that they have good clothing deals and are flexible with your hours but other than that nothing.

    Cons

Horrible customer service.. sad to say I am embarrassed to be representing this company. No one greets the customers or ask if they need help. Was left to figure stuff out on my own no one trained me. Put me to use the cash register on first day and had attitude when I would ask for help.

    Advice to Management

    Show more respect to customers

I have been working at The Children's Place part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Clothes are really cute. I have a boss that works as hard as everyone else.

    Cons

Really high paced for the amount of money you make. Constant changes, a lot of freight, customers not friendly with the clothes. Makes for a heavy workload. And upper management seems to have no idea what all there is to deal with on a daily basis yet expects miracles.

    Advice to Management

Go work in your stores sometimes. The fast paced ones. See what they are looking at. When the store manager doesn't have enough hours and people call in left and right, they are wearing the good people out
