    This company is for those who are just entering in the work field. You can learn cashier, folding clothes, visual merchandising, and stock.

    Pros

    You get a pretty good employee discount, and it is almost always busy.

    Cons

    There is major favoritism in the management and if you aren't in that group you could get 5 hours a week.

    -Day one benefits for full-time associates
    -Great place to grow
    -Hour are there if you are full time
    -Good employee discount

    Cons

    -low pay
    -high turnover rate
    -Upper management have unrealistic goals
    -over worked and under paid.

    Everyone is very nice and helpful. Great exposure to cross-functional teams.

    Cons

    Always busy but you are learning a lot of areas of the business. Very manually in terms of processes and systems.

    I worked at The Children's Place full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    two weeks paid time off per year. Heath benefits, sick days. Great pay for industry/ title. IF you have a supportive district/ district manager, the team will ALWAYS lend a helping hand.

    Cons

    No set schedule. Required to work every weekend, unless willing to sacrifice PTO. High part-time employee turnover rate - seasonal, sales associate, and part-time management included!

    Advice to Management

    Invest in quality candidates by providing better incoming rate and hours! Hard to keep part-time employees on when they are paid minimum wage for maximum effort, especially when they can go to a leading competitor and receive a better wage.

    I worked at The Children's Place part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Seeing children during working hours

    Cons

    Store manager would cut back on employee hours because the company's budget was low and only gave two-four hours max per shift twice a week. The company started me at minimum wage and never increased my salary despite of me being an asset to their company (bilingual).

    Pros

    Great discounts and great mid level managers. Love the product. Fairly competitive salary and bonus structure for store managers.

    Heavy workload a lot of times it is not realistic with given payroll
