I worked at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Less than a year)

    Pros

The people are wonderful to work with and they have a positive work environment. My coworkers loved to work hard and do things right and efficiently.

    Cons

The only downside was that there was not too much structure to how the work was completed.

I have been working at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

My manager is very accommodating and understanding when I have family issues I need to take care of. They have amazing benefits. They are very loyal to their employees. They give fair and competitive compensation. My same job at another major company in the same area pays over $4 less an hour to start.

    Cons

It can be really hard to get in. It's all about who you know, not who you are. However, they do a great job recognizing hard working employees.

    Advice to Management

Make sure to really follow up on employee concerns and questions. This is probably the biggest concern I've seen. Not following up makes the employee feel that they are not being heard or cared about.

    Pros

Great environment and people to work with. Great 401k match as well.

    Cons

No opportunities to increase salary or have bonuses on current position.

    Advice to Management

Be a little more open minded to employees ideas and behavior. No one is a robot.

I worked at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Atmosphere and the way things were organized was amazing. Love the people as well!

    Cons

It's hard to become full time. I was part-time and a contract worker but once your contract ends you either don't have a job or have to go back to part-time.

    Advice to Management

    More full time positions!

    Pros

One common saying here is that "inspiration is scattered among us." If you're looking for a chance to surround yourself with world-class talent, learn something new every day, and have your voice not only heard but actively listened to and appreciated, this is the place.

    Cons

Benefits are average in comparison with other companies; it's difficult to compete with the fast-changing employment landscape.

I worked at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as an intern

    Pros

It was a really good company to work for. I really enjoyed working for this company.

    Cons

It is a typical cooperation with red tape to go through. To move up you will have to climb the cooperate ladder.

    Advice to Management

Listen to what employees have to say. A lot of people have good experience and ideas.

    Pros

Learning opportunity, healthcare premiums, experience, environment

    Cons

12 hour shifts take away from being able to really do anything else on the days you work.
