    Cons

the corporate organization is more structured than most (good and bad), decisions could me made faster.

I have been working at The Clorox Company full-time

    Pros

Fantastic place to work. Has great work life balance overall. Longevity is high of all employees wanting to work here.

    Cons

Decision making is very slow. Processes are old and willingness to change is low. Heavily process driven that can kill productivity and motivation. Talent is not always recognized. Process driven instead of talent driven.

    Advice to Management

Empower the employees to make decision and trust them. Process should be enablers and not disruptive to the productivity. Bring more agility into work. Recognize talent and provide environment to foster the talent for best use to the company.

I have been working at The Clorox Company full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Work life balance is skewed more towards life than work. People are provided the freedom of flexible hours at the corporate and other business locations.

    Cons

Promotes and drives very liberal policies promoting and elevating some very contentious issues. Enables those discussions but the environment does not allow for differing opinions to be heard. Uses diversity and inclusion as the primary method to create this environment.

    Advice to Management

Move away from a focus on diversity and inclusion towards viewing abilities of all employees to make leadership and promotional decisions. When done properly, diversity and inclusion do not need to be addressed at all. Diversity and inclusion is just another method of separating your workforce into groups that inhibits working together.

    Cons

Highly corporate operation, Lots of meetings and time to make decisions.

    Advice to Management

Continue to develop truly agile processes; leaning on teams to make decisions and not always having to involve upper management.

    Pros

    Great products and brand values
Will not compromise on safety or quality

    Cons

Upward mobility is limited for those unwilling to move
HR support is rarely available Largely website driven 'self help'

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing on driving the brands and profitability
Work to provide advancement for associates who can't relocate. Company claims to value work/life balance as long as you can uproot family to move frequently
