    Pros

Exposure to residents, fast paced environment, and great learning experience.

    Cons

It can be tough to manage different issues at the same time. Complaints walk in, email, and phone. Def overwhelming, but rewarding

I worked at The Continental Group full-time

    Pros

My last year in The Continental Group was 2008 and I worked as an Accounts Payable clerk. It is a very stable company, fast paced, that will give you opportunities to grow. If you are fast this is a good company to work for. As an Accounts payable clerk the standard was to make 300 checks per week and do the payables of 25 properties. They have also good work/life time consideration, you start at 08:30 am and have to leave at 05:00 pm from Monday to Friday. If you become a Manager you have the possibility of earning huge bonus.

    Cons

Compensation for the entry level Accounts Payable clerk was $12.00 per hour and that is the only cons I see.

    Pros

    Throw a great holiday party.

    Cons

Poor leadership. Spend money in the wrong ways. Don't find solutions, just throw people and money at the problem.

    Advice to Management

Look at your processes not the people. You are all too ready to blame a person.

I worked at The Continental Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Fairly good benefits, but they change them to save upper management money. It made the benefits less appealing to the employees

    Cons

poor knowledge of their property managers when it comes to their knowledge of rules that apply to the government, they cared more of themselves than the properties best interest & poor follow-up

    Advice to Management

    better check & balances

    Pros

None I can think of. That's horrible to say; however, this place is truly unbearable for most people to sustain.

    Cons

CEO has no backbone, CFO is passive aggressive and gossips worst than a junior high school girl, COO is CFO failure.

I have been working at The Continental Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Large company, they manage a lot of buildings and communities in South Florida and there is room for growth/circulation. Good for college student, not a career.

    Cons

They don't help their staff get ahead. Almost everyone I met that works for Continental seems lost and they are very slow. They are not professional at all.

    Advice to Management

    More training on MANAGEMENT!

I worked at The Continental Group full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Large company and room to grow in the property management field. Very Customer Service Oriented; provides professional and work ethic service to all Board of Directors, homeowners, vendors and contractors. Such a great EXPERIENCE to work for a Great Company and be a part of their TCG Team. I was in a Fantastic Hard working Team ( very important; reason why I have such a great impression of TCG)

    Cons

Difficult to balance family and career

    Advice to Management

Value and respect all employees; recognize your employees. Happy valued employees deliver and make Happy Clients. Kudos to all employees that make the companies from HK to Managers that are on the fire lines putting out fires and taking hits.
