    Neutral Outlook

I have been working at The County Federal Credit Union full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Close community feel. Bonuses are okay, branch management is okay.

    Cons

Horrible pay, Upper management is completely out of touch with lower staff. Teller line is lacking in technology, training is almost non existent. Poor communication from higher management to lower. Policy's are not clear and changed when management feels they are used for their advantage. Does not hire or promote from within

    Advice to Management

Appreciate the staff you have, and look at other financial institutions for competitive pay.

  2. "Loved my time with CFCU more hours, better pay would make it perfect."

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at The County Federal Credit Union part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Small town family feel within the company. Wonderful customer base. Competitive benefits such as 401k and PTO even for part time employees. Able to contact the encouraging and helpful senior staff at the main branch. Excellent co-workers.

    Cons

Significantly lower pay than other area banks. Training of new employees could be better organized and more informative. More hours needed for part time help. Sometimes poor communication of information from the management through the branch manager to the employees.

    Advice to Management

Evaluate pay scale compared to other area banking institutions. Create an organized training program for new hires. Follow up that information is received through proper channels and accurate.
