I have been working at The Delta Companies full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Company is built on a culture of people AND profitability. This is not a place where it is one or the other. Be prepared to come here, work hard and get rewarded for it. Management is supportive and do whatever they can to help you succeed and you then have to do your part too. When it all comes together – it is a pretty great place to work! We are a growing company and there are opportunities for anyone who wants to put in the work.

    Cons

Comp and benefits are below market - especially for support staff. Lots of changes this year - a bit of uncertainty.

    Advice to Management

Maintain transparency with your employees about what is going on. Don't forgo the culture and the people that got you here in exchange for profitability.

I have been working at The Delta Companies full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great culture! We work hard and play even harder. Leadership really listens through round table discussions, membership engagement surveys and asking for feedback.

    Cons

I wish we had a gym in the building and the parking garage is always full.

    Advice to Management

Keep listening to employees. They have great suggestions and are great at working through any issues that arise.

    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

They paid regularly and intermittently responded to email

    Cons

bait and switch tactic used. You are told what a general pay scale is to be, you accept, then you are told it isn't as much. Recruiters are the same as anywhere else. They will say anything to get yo on board.
You will also have several people contacting you for different things to get licensed. Many lists will overlap. You will be told different things as to where information has to be sent or what is required (licensing , requirements etc). Its like a disorganized group of individuals that don't communicate with each other are running the organization. Other issues are: wrong facility addresses are given, wrong start times, mad rush to send you into the middle of nowhere, not listening to what you want as far as work, drive distance, etc etc

    Advice to Management

    there was management?

I have been working at The Delta Companies full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The on-boarding process is the most organized that I have ever seen. I have been in the industry for 4 years prior to coming to Delta, and they have been able to teach me information that I did not previously know. The leadership and helpfulness of each department is beyond any that I have received before. I truly feel set up to succeed.

    Cons

There are a lot of classes set up to train in the first two weeks. The computer and tech training doesn't come right upfront. It was a little hard to navigate the system.

    Advice to Management

Keep investing in great leadership. It is the reason I feel so supported.

There's nothing better than a company that cares about their employee and gives them autonomy to run their desk the way they like it. The culture is one of a kind and is why people stay.

    Cons

There's nothing I can think of. I enjoy my time here.

I have been working at The Delta Companies full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Weekly meetings that are full of motivation and answers about the workplace.
    - Great co workers that are always patient and helpful.
    - Amazing culture and atmosphere that creates a fun, but focused work environment.
    - Fun activities that allow everyone to get involved.

    Cons

The pay is very low, compared to our competitors. There is a lot of opportunity to stage and make more money but it should be increased. Also, stipends/discounts for activities/necessities should be increased.

    Pros

-Great group of people to work with that are more than just coworkers.
    -Company promotes work/life balance.
-All employees can make a difference.

    Cons

-The business requires hard work which is not for everyone.
