    Pros

Descent benefit, You were always able to work extra if you wanted

    Cons

Company Culture, Long Shifts, High turnover

    Advice to Management

Do more to ensure strong performance among all employees. Little is done to penalize poor performing employees, causing good people to leave.

I have been working at The Dinex Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

A lot of opportunities in the company to work through, many restaurants available to work in. Offers full benefit opportunities after 3 months of full time work.

    Cons

Long hours, demanding boh work environments. Base level pay rates could be higher, but will be raising with new minimum wage laws next year.

I have been working at The Dinex Group full-time

    Pros

Talented chefs and generally easy-going restaurant employees to work with. Benefits are great. They provide 401k, health insurance, sick and vacation days.

    Cons

Corporate management should care more about the restaurant level people. Wished there were better communication on what corporate expects from restaurant managers.

    Advice to Management

Management should visit restaurants more often to get to know their restaurant colleagues better which might help with how they work together.

    Pros

Great colleagues, gratifying environment, really motivating boss

    Cons

Definitely a boy's club, less upward career mobility for female employees

    Advice to Management

Corporate culture overtaking the main reasons people join the company

I have been working at The Dinex Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great training, decent hours for bread baking, lots of different breads, fast paced. Resume and skill builder. Benefits are decent.

    Cons

Culture of a French kitchen can be a little rough and impatient. Training is not necessarily in English: learn by watching but pressure is on to be very fast.

    Advice to Management

Only one week of vacation time after a year of service is very low for a fast-paced, very physical job.

I worked at The Dinex Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Beautiful food concepts, but a menu undeserving of the boloud name

    Cons

    Inexperienced chefs on power trips

    Advice to Management

Need adults running the kitchens not boys.
